chocolate & coffee!

Mmmmm... I just love them. For me coffee is a daily need, and chocolate a special indulgence. They are married in my favorite candy here in Italy. The boys sometimes bring them to their teachers on a Friday... I think it is a nice improvement on an apple! These little gems are no where to be found in the summer months, and believe me I have looked! But come September, they are back in the stores. Ok, I have just shared my favorite candy addiction! What is yours?

    It's hard to pin point just one but Rolo's and Kitkat's have always been favorites. When I was in Croatia around this time last year, I had a gelato that was chocolate and orange mixed into one and I remember thinking, man if they made this into a candy, I'd buy a ton of it to take home!
    But I have to agree with chocolate and coffee going well together, although I don't drink coffee eveyday, especially now! I was just at the grocery store and when I walked through the coffee isle, all I could do was inhale deeply and oh, the beautiful smell of coffee made me want to never leave the store.....that goodness for our wonderful sense of smell AND taste, of course.

    I remember those!!!! But if we are confessing here,....I love the double dark chocolates that can only be found at Goody's. They are sinful. But if we are talking CHOCOLATE....I love a flourless chocolate cake. Yummmmm

    yum... pocket coffees are my favorite! here in America, reese's peanut butter cups are the best but pretty much any sweet (with chocolate or not) works for me!
